Ying-Yu Emily Yeh (葉穎瑜), a pianist, organist, flutist, and clinician, received Master of Music degree in Music Performance from University of Missouri-Kansas City, Master of Art in Religious Studies from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, KS, Bachelor of Music in Music Performance, summa cum laude, from Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA and music certification from Tunghai University, Taiwan. Emily is a nationally certified teacher of music by the Music Teachers National Association, the American College of Musicians, and Musikgarten, early childhood music and movement education. Emily has given performances in the United States, London, and Taiwan. Emily’s name is recognized in Who’s Who in America and also named in the Hall of Fame by the National Piano Guild. She has also served as a church organist and Piano Guild adjudicator. Emily and her students have received numerous awards in competitions, auditions, and festivals. They were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall, New York, Royal Albert Hall, London, the Amphithéâtre, Philharmonie, Paris, and Auditorium Parco Della Musica, Teatro Studio, Rome. Emily is a member of MTNA, KMTA, KCMTA, MAMA, Piano Guild, and NFA. Emily is the KMTA Vice-President for Auditions and the Piano Guild Overland Park, KS Center chairperson. She was also a chairperson for the KCMTA Fall Festival and Concerto Competition for many years. Emily received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Kansas Music Teachers Association in 2024.
Joseph Myers is a pianist, guitarist, and composer receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Joseph is a certified piano teacher by the American College of Musicians and Musikgarten, early childhood music and movement education. He has taught in both schools and private music studios for many years. Joseph has been a church music director and director of music for a local theatre company, taught summer music camps, and given performances in the United States and Taiwan. His name was recognized in the Hall of Fame by the National Piano Guild. Under his tutelage, his students have received numerous awards in competitions, auditions, and festivals. Joseph is an MTNA, KMTA, KCMTA, MAMA, and Piano Guild member.
